Epic Toon FX is a massive collection of 1323 cartoony particle effects. Featuring everything from explosive combat effects, magic spells to power-ups and soothing rain effects.

Render pipeline compatibility

The Built-in Render Pipeline is Unity’s default render pipeline. It is a general-purpose render pipeline that has limited options for customization. The Universal Render Pipeline (URP) is a Scriptable Render Pipeline that is quick and easy to customize, and lets you create optimized graphics across a wide range of platforms. The High Definition Render Pipeline (HDRP) is a Scriptable Render Pipeline that lets you create cutting-edge, high-fidelity graphics on high-end platforms.

Description

The effects are created with the Shuriken particle system, making them easy to re-color, scale and adjust. The particle system prefabs are sorted into 3 main categories: Combat, Environment and Interactive.

Technical details

The asset was created in the built-in render pipeline but comes with an URP Upgrade package included. The particles mostly use Unity's standard particle shaders and a few custom shaders made with Amplify Shader Editor. Bloom is not required for this asset.
